With its high performance affordable smartphones, Xiaomi has become one of the fastest growing smartphone brands in India. Many of its phones have sold over a lakh units in a short time. However, this time around, Xiaomi’s latest Redmi Note 3 has been picked-up by more than 6 lakh Indians in only two months.
To celebrate the success, Xiaomi’s Global Vice President, Hugo Barra, posted a special message to Facebook. He thanked the Xiaomi fans for their overwhelming and continuous support. Oh, and he also referred to them as “total rock stars!”
However, the best “part” about the post was the image accompanying it. Hugo and Manu Jain can be seen posing with a giant Note 3 in this photograph. The huge handset, is off course added by some god-level Photoshop “skills”.
The Note 3 is quite a good phone. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen, 16 megapixel camera, and 4000 mAh battery. The Note 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 650. It is also one of the few affordable phones to feature fingerprint sensor. For more details, check out our comprehensive review by clicking here.
