Marvel has established impressive cinematic universe of its superheroes. The Avengers franchise is one of the biggest cash cow in the Hollywood. While its rival DC has no shortage of superheroes, they haven’t worked well as a team so far. Lets face it, Captain America single-handedly defeated Batman V Superman on the box office. However, going by the trailer of Justice League, DC seems to have upped its game.
For starters, unlike Superman V Batman, the Justice League movie has a lighter tone. The footage released at the Comic-Con revolves around Batman (Ben Afleck) recruiting people with special abilities to defend the Earth. If you didn’t leave the Batman V Superman movie halfway, you would know that the Man of Steel is dead (at least for now).
The superheroes introduced in the first trailer are Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller, this guy is annoying). Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) reprises her role from the Dawn of Justice. By the way, Aquaman is portrayed by Jason Mamoa, known as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones. The movie is slated to release in 2017. Till then, here’s the teaser video to keep the hype train running:
