Apple’s Note 7 competitor is here. Dubbed the iPhone 7 Plus, this handset features a 5.5-inch Full HD screen. Much like its compact sibling, the Plus variant is IP (Ingress Protection) 67 certified. This means that the iPhone 7 Plus can withstand water and dirt.
The handset’s biggest highlight though is the dual-camera setup, which comprises of a 12-megapixel snapper and a depth sensor. It enables users to tinker with the depth-of-focus of an image. Keep it in mind that this feature is missing on the iPhone 7. For superior low-light shots, it also makes use of OIS (Optical Image Stabilsation).
The iPhone 7 Plus is powered by the Apple A10 Fusion chipset, which is said to be 40 percent faster than Apple A9. It comes in 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB variants. Other noteworthy features are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and GPS. As usual, the home button hosts a fingerprint sensor, which is now pressure sensitive. The phone does away with the 3.5 mm jack in favour of lightening port.
The phone is expect to hit the Indian market on 7th of October.
