Intex has launched its 3G-enable smartphone, the Intex Aqua Classic at Rs 4444. The device features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and features like Gorilla Glass 3. The device runs Android Lollipop and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM.
It is equipped with a 2100mAh battery, which offers talk time of 6 hours and stand-by time of 210 hours. The Aqua Classic sports a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 0.5 megapixel secondary camera.
If you think this is a dirt-cheap handset, then you haven’t heard of Intex’s recently launched Aqua Sense 5.1 smartphone that costs Rs 3999. The Aqua Sense sports 5-inch display and is slightly different from Aqua Classic. Aqua Sense comes with a bigger battery of 2,500mAh and a lower RAM of 512 MB. Well, I guess we all agree that any Android smartphone with less than 1 GB RAM is quite pointless.
Currently, the smart phone is available through the Indian brand’s website. It is expected to hit the other ecommerce portals and brick-and-mortar shops soon.
