HTC’s Budget smartphone unveiled at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2016 can now be yours for Rs 14,990. The phone is available online as well as brick-and-mortar shops across India. Going by the press images, the handset seems to feature a nice sporty design. However, it looks as if HTC’s factory was being painted while manufacturing this phone.
The Desire 630 sports a 5-inch HD screen. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.6 GHz. It comprises of quad-core Cortex-A7 processors coupled with Adreno 305 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB internal storage and microSD card slot expandable up to 256 GB.
The phone has a 13 megapixel shooter at back and a 5 megapixel front camera for selfies. Both the snappers feature BSI (Back-illuminad Sensor). The Desire 630 features Boomsound and Dolby audio enhancements. It is a dual-SIM handset with 4G LTE support. The handset packs-in a 2200 mAh battery.
As far as the software is concerned, the phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. For Rs 14,990, it seems like a good deal, unless you are a fan of Chinese companies offering a lot more for that price.
