Following the launch of Energy XL last month, Blu has introduced the Pure XR on Amazon and Best Buy for $300 (around Rs. 20,200).
Available in grey and gold, the Blu Pure XR sports a metal unibody. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports dual-SIM cards. The smartphone features a 5.5 inch full-HD display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 octa-core processor with Mali-T860 graphics GPU. The handset houses 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of inbuilt storage. You can further expand the storage by another chunk of 64 GB via a microSD card.
The Blu Pure XR boasts a16-megapixel rear camera with features such as LED flash, phase detection autofocus, laser focus, f/1.8 aperture, and HD video recording. The 8-megapixel front snapper comes with a wide-angle lens. The smartphone houses a 3000mAh battery, which can deliver up to 20 days of standby time on one charge. If the company’s claims are to be believed, 10 minutes of charging can provide the device with 1 hour of talk time.
The Blu Pure XR houses a fingerprint scanner inside the home button on the front. The speaker grille and the 3.5 mm audio jack is placed at the bottom. The volume buttons and the power button rests comfortably on the right edge of the handset.
